Eagles Nest Ranch

Leaders in
Training Program

is a powerful leadership program for young ladies going into grades 10-12.

Find adventure, fun, and friendships in the most beautiful place on earth! Challenge your heart and your abilities to live life full at Eagles Nest Ranch!

Dedicated leaders in training will refine their skills, draw closer to God, and learn to love like Jesus loves. Our unique program has a split track where students all grow together in leadership and discipleship, and have the option to focus on Horsemanship or Activity Pursuits, which include training in outdoor adventures, archery, riflery, paintball, climbing, and large group game planning. Do you like art, music or dance? We can make that happen too.

The Activities track of the training:

Every afternoon while the wranglers are up to their armpits in horse manure, the Activities Team will be learning new skills and receive training that is essential for the other areas of camp. The Activities team of LiT students will explore a variety of outdoor and indoor activities, including ropes, archery, rifles, paintball target shooting, large group activities, art, dance, operating the Nest TuckShop, and meal prep.

The Wrangler track of the training:

Devotionals from the book by Rebecca E. Ondov “Reflections along the Trail with God”. What does it mean to depend on God for love, provision, and grace as you ride the trail with Him everyday. The focus is not on performance, buckles or ribbons, but on what God can do through us for others to bring glory to his name. It’s all about building relationships with each other and the horses, teamwork, honesty and trust. Two levels of skills training are offered, although the heart of the program is to utilize our love for horses to show us how to love others as He loved us! Unconditionally!
